Currently available in the school took place. There are:
  • Two Dell desktop computers in every classroo,
  • Three 16 unit laptop carts
  • One 25 workstation networked PC COMPUTER LAB
  • Three SmartBoards
  • Six Dell Desktops in the Robinhood Library (under development)
Goals:
  • Goal One: To provde staff with curriculum driven professional develoment that clearly
ntegrates technolgy into the classroom on a continous basis
  • Goal Two: To continue building school based technology resource through grant writing and
other funding sources.

Items Discussed During Articulation: During the articulation with Mrs. Harrigan,
Principal, .the following was shared....
  • How to.provide onsite professinal development that address the needs of the staff
  • How to.effectively implement various professional development models
  • How to locate funding resources to support the school's growing techology needs
Curricular Focus/Theme: Develop curriculum maps that inegrate technology
Instructional Skill(s):

  • Teacher instructional skills are effective; however, technology integratin is very limited

  • All teachers work independently on grade appropriate curriculum.
Next Steps: (Follow-up Procedures):
  • Provide off-site professional development to designated grade leaders who can effectively turn-key information to their peers.
  • Provide onsite professional development that consists of technology integraton strategies,
classroom management, demostration lessons and differentiated instruction.

Anticipated Outcomes:
Outcome 1: Designated turn-key teachers will attend professional development session,
I implement learned material and share with their peers, become a valued resource for the Integratin
of technology for their grade level.
Outcome 2: Assist teachers with the development of curriculum maps that clearly reflect the
integration of tecnology.

Areas of Concern (if any):
  • The portable classroom lack connectivity to the internet. Their workstations also require setup.
  • Teacher motivation and awareness requires reinforcing.

Principal Harrigan expressed a strong desire to:
  • Write grants to support the ongoing development of the school's technology program
  • Develop the school's teshnology plan
  • Updates on any techology programs that can benefit the staff and students at the school
  • Technology resources to support the school''s science program

  • Classroom collaboration was only evident in the Dual Language Program. All other teachers seem to plan in isolation.

  • Identify a server that might be used to more effective uitlize the computer lab and mobile carts.
Identify and plan professional development for turn-key teachers.

  • Outcome 1: Provide teachers with some basic skills for the integration of technology in their classroom.
